Our Journey to Evotix

Evotix has evolved through decades of innovation, expertise and a shared commitment to helping organizations create safer, more sustainable workplaces. From our origins in Scotland as SHE Software and the development of Cintellate in Australia, two established EHS platforms grew independently to support organizations across increasingly complex and regulated environments. Their paths ultimately converged, bringing together complementary technology, expertise and experience

Evotix Company History 

1994
Cintellate is founded

Perth, Australia

Cintellate is founded to help organizations in complex and highly regulated industries manage EHS, risk and compliance through configurable software.

1995-96
Evotix's Scottish roots begin

East Kilbride, Scotland

Lexware International Ltd is founded, laying the foundations for what would become SHE Software and ultimately, Evotix. 

2006
SHE Software is born

Lexware International Ltd becomes SHE
Software, strengthening its focus on helping organizations manage workplace health and safety more effectively. 

2009
Cintellate joins SAI Global

Cintellate is acquired by SAI Global, expanding its reach as a cloud-based EHS and compliance solution for organizations around the world. 

2011
A new chapter for SHE Software

Matthew Elson acquires SHE Software, beginning a period of significant investment in modernizing the platform and strengthening the company's EHS expertise. 

2017
Taking EHS mobile

SHE Software launches one of the UK's first specialist EHS mobile apps, helping organizations manage safety more effectively across distributed and operational environments.

2018-20
Expanding globally

SHE Software accelerates its international growth, opening its first North American office in Chicago, expanding its team and establishing a presence in Manchester. 

2020
Turning EHS data into insight

SHE Software introduces Insights, bringing enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities into the platform to help organizations better understand EHS program performance. 

2021
Expanding learning and engagement

SHE Software acquires StoryShare, extending its capabilities in mobile and microlearning and helping organizations engage employees more effectively with their EHS programs.

SHE Software becomes Evotix

SHE Software rebrands as Evotix, reflecting its evolution into a broader EHS&S technology provider and its ambition to help organizations build reliable, sustainable safety programs as they evolve.

Cintellate becomes part of SAI360

Cintellate becomes part of SAI360's EHS&S portfolio, continuing its evolution as a solution for complex, highly regulated organizations. 

2023
Evotix joins SAI360

SAI360 acquires Evotix, bringing Evotix and the heritage of Cintellate together within the same EHS&S portfolio.

The portfolio comes together under  Evotix

SAI360 aligns its EHS&S portfolio under the Evotix brand, bringing together complementary technology, capabilities and expertise to serve organizations across a broader range of industries and operational environments.

 A new chapter for Evotix

Evotix returns to operating as a standalone business within the STG portfolio, with renewed investment in the platform, customer experience and future growth.

New leadership, continued evolution

Jonathan English becomes CEO, leading Evotix into its next phase of growth and continued innovation in EHS&S technology.
