What’s new in v2026.1 and Roam 7.1?

A faster, more intuitive mobile experience (Roam), helping frontline teams work more efficiently through quicker access and clearer, easier‑to‑use interfaces
New automation and efficiency features, including recurring tasks and bulk processing
New platform communication and AI foundations, including broadcast messaging and Azure OpenAI support
Significant improvements to Contractor Management, delivering clearer lifecycle visibility and stronger risk-based controls

To take advantage of these improvements, customers will need to upgrade to Evotix 360 v2026.1.

Highlights

1. A faster, more intuitive day‑to‑day mobile experience (Roam)

Start work sooner with Quick Launch

Roam becomes usable much earlier, even while background data continues downloading. This means frontline teams can open the app and begin completing forms immediately—rather than waiting for a full refresh—keeping work moving in the field and reducing startup friction.

Clearer record creation and navigation
Improved data quality and guidance
Better visibility and control
Improved data quality and guidance

Together, these improvements represent a significant stepchange in the Roam experience—reducing friction, improving data quality, and making it easier for frontline teams to get work done quickly and consistently.

2. Automation & Operational Efficiency

Automate recurring tasks with Recurrence

Customers can now create recurring records directly within the platform.
This makes planned work more visible and reduces administrative overhead.
SDS Bulk Processing
For customers using Chemical Management with SDS Manager integration, chemicals can now be bulk imported into Evotix 360 using a simple CSV upload—replacing hundreds or thousands of manual entries.
Metrics and Emissions
Enhancements to data collection and large-scale imports making the module easier and more efficient to use, particularly for customers managing high volumes of metrics and emissions data.

3. Translations & Localization Enhancements

Managing translations is now significantly simpler and more scalable.

Faster, more scalable localization management

Admins can now export translation keys by workspace menu—or export all—so only the items actually in use are included. This removes the need to manually select hundreds of individual elements and dramatically reduces the effort required when updating translations or rolling out a new language across the system.
Scale multilingual support with less manual effort
Translation exports can be automatically translated using a Google Translate API key, reducing manual effort and reliance on external tools.
These improvements dramatically reduce the time and effort required to support multilingual environments.

4. Platform Communication & AI Foundations

Systemwide broadcast messages
Admins can now broadcast messages across the platform to communicate important information such as outages, warnings, or announcements.
Azure OpenAI support
Evotix 360 now supports Azure OpenAI for the AI Suggestion Assistant, enabling customers to adopt AI capabilities while aligning with internal security and compliance requirements.

5. Contractor Management Improvements

v2026.1 delivers a significantly enhanced Contractor Management capability, providing a more complete and risk-based approach to managing contractor companies.
Clearer contractor lifecycle visibility

A visual workflow indicator shows exactly where each contractor sits in the lifecycle, helping contractor managers prioritize follow-ups and manage approvals more effectively.

Risk-based pre-qualification
Prequalification requirements now adjust dynamically based on the risk rating of the contractor’s work tasks. Low-risk contractors are not overburdened, while higher-risk activities receive more robust scrutiny.
Collaborative approval process
Contractor managers can involve subject matter experts directly in the approval process, with automated notifications and a clear audit trail showing who approved what, and why.

Standardized performance reviews

A consistent performance review process enables objective, repeatable assessments of contractor companies over time, reducing bias and improving visibility of performance trends.
Contractor Company Management Dashboard
A new Contractor Company Management Dashboard gives a clear indication of the overall health of your contractor company pool—highlighting approval status and risk profiles so managers can quickly identify issues, take action, and maintain a strong, high-quality contractor base over time.
